Buffalo introduces two new powerbank for iPhone and Android smartphones

Buffalo Technology, a leading provider of wired and wireless networking and network and direct attached storage solutions, will be introducing two Power Bank models: BSMPB03 and BSMPB04. Buffalo’s new Power Bank features two USB ports, allowing users to charge two devices, such as a smartphone and an iPod, at the same time. Each port has been optimized for fast charging, enabling rapid recharging of both Apple and Android smartphones.

Jasem Al Roomi, Managing Director of Buffalo Advantec FZCO, Inc., remarked: “In today’s mobile world, and with advanced use of apps, battery life is a challenge sometimes. Our portable pack is compact and will enable them to get that extra charge at crucial times. It also comes with an ON/OFF switch on the side of the unit allowing users to switch the unit on only when charging is needed means no waste of battery power.”

The Powerbank’s 2-amp output enables charging of tablets (tablets accepting microUSB power supplies*). This mobile battery also works with iPod series, Walkmans, digital cameras, portable game consoles, and other devices compatible with computer USB power supplies. It features an LED indicator that lets users check the remaining battery power at a glance. This eliminates worries about the battery power suddenly running out with no warning.

Both the BSMPB03 and BSMPB04 use rechargeable lithium ion battery that lasts 500 times for charging. Users can repeatedly charge the battery pack from electrical outlets and computers.

The new Powerbank BSMPB03 and BSMPB04 will be available from key retail partners across the Middle East from the end of November 2013 at a SRP of UAE Dirhams AED 99.75 (BSMPB03) and AED 199.75(BSMPB04).
