ENOC launches feature-rich app to support Smart Dubai vision

Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has launched its dedicated App to support the Smart Dubai vision announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to promote the happiness of Dubai residents.

Aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction, the App named ‘ENOC’ is feature-rich and serves as a one-stop destination for all news and information relating to ENOC. Through the App that is available in Arabic and English, users can effortlessly access information on locations of ENOC and EPPCO service stations, ZOOM stores and Tasjeel sites.

The App provides a detailed overview of the services provided at these sites, as well as the timings of over 300 food and beverage outlets including over 90 international and regional brands, money exchange houses, tyre shops, pharmacies and branches of banks, insurance agencies and money exchanges and laundries that operate as part of ENOC’s service stations. Users can access the websites of these different operators too. The App also provides details about ENOC’s latest promotions and campaigns.

Saeed Khoory, Chief Executive Officer, ENOC, said: “We are committed to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to establish Dubai as one of the smartest cities in the world by leveraging the latest in technologies. The new App is part of an ongoing enterprise mobility roadmap that we are implementing to maximise customer satisfaction, enhance our operational efficiency and contribute to Dubai’s Smart City initiative. With the new App, customers can access information relating to ENOC anytime, anywhere.”

He added: “The ENOC App adds value to motorists by assisting them in locating our service stations and also helps the general public to locate their favourite food and beverage outlets, which operate within our premises. It will also assist our stakeholders and partners in the oil & gas, terminalling and other businesses by offering them up-to-the-minute information on our diversified operations. The App exemplifies our commitment to be closer to our customers and to provide highly efficient services round-the-clock.”

Available for both smartphones and tablets, the ENOC App is supported on multiple mobile operating systems including IOs and Android, with the Windows version to be launched soon. It can be downloaded at App Store (iPhones and iPads) and Google Play (Android devices).

Ahmed Zakaria, Senior Manager, ENOC Financial Services and the App’s Project Manager, said: “The App will connect the customer with ENOC and allow them to provide constructive feedback not only about the App itself but also about the services and facilities that ENOC provides. This will enable us to understand and evaluate customer requirements and thus deliver value engineered products that fit perfectly with their day-to-day activities. We will regularly incorporate additional features to the App which will enhance the customer experience.”

The App also enables motorists to identify service stations that offer the fuel self-serve facility and those that offer the ViP (Vehicle Identification Pass) Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system.  Push-notification technology will enable users to receive messages from ENOC on the latest offers and promotions, while the navigation/GPS feature will help motorists in finding directions to their desired destination.

As part of ENOC’s commitment to attract new talent, the App has a Careers section, which enables potential candidates to upload their CVs directly from their phones or handheld devices. In addition, potential vendors seeking to do business with ENOC will be able to register their interest and upload their details via the App.
