Jabra Sport Pulse Wireless earbuds are now available in the UAE

In the world of fitness and sports, heart rate monitor (HRM) are commonly used by athletes as both measurement and training tool in order to maximise their potentials. Thanks to the advancement of technology and the rising number of health conscious users, HRM has starting to make it ways into consumer electronics. The new Jabra Sport Pulse Wireless earbuds are one of the latest product to feature integrated HRM and it is now officially available in the UAE.

Said to be the first of its kind in the market, users are able to utilize the integrated HRM which is located on its left earpiece via the Jabra Sport Life mobile app which also acts as fitness training app. Through the app, users are able to plan, manage, and track their workout as well as obtaining real-time feedback during their workout through the app’s voice coaching feature. The Sport Pulse Wireless earbuds are also compatible with other renowned fitness app such as Endomondo, Runkeeper, Strava, and MapMyFitness.

With an accuracy of up to 98% as compared to medical equipment, Jabra stated that the Sport Pulse Wireless earbuds are also sweat, shock, and dust-proof as they have been tested to meet the US Military MIL-STD-810 standards and IP56 rating. That being said, they are not designed for diving or swimming although the Sport Pulse Wireless are still able to withstand water splashes.

Apart from all the features that we have mentioned above, the Sport Pulse Wireless earbuds also come with Dolby audio enhancements as well as BLE 4.0 and NFC capabilities. With a battery life of up to 5 hours, users are able to use the earbuds not only to listen to music but also to answer phone calls.

In terms of availability, the Jabra Sport Pulse Wireless earbuds will be exclusively available at Virgin Megastores initially, before they are rolled out across the region to the rest of the tech stores and other outlets. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but we reckon it will be around AED 900.
