Chinese firm OnePlus has tried its luck in the mobile market with its new OnePlus One. The device is based on the Android operating system and is competing with the devices produced by some of the giants in mobile market like Sony, Samsung, HTC and Microsoft.

The device comes with Android v4.4.2 (KitKat) operating system which is upgradable to v.4.4.4 (Kitkat), while the processor included in the phone is Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400. The operating system and powerful processor form a perfect combination for the smooth and proper functioning of the phone.

3 GB RAM installed in the phone will make sure that you are able to multitask with utmost ease without any hanging or lagging problems. This combination is enough to run even heavy application smoothly in your phone. The chipset of the phone is of Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801, while the GPU is of Adreno 330.

The device is packed in an elegant rectangular body with a slim and sleek design. The device is blessed with 5.5 inch display which occupies about 71.9% of the total space present on the front portion of the device. The screen is LTPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16 M colors.

The screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and the pixel density of 401 ppi will make sure that you have a delightful experience while watching videos and playing games in your OnePlus One. The screen is protected by powerful Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is little bigger as it measures 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm, which can create problems if you like to use your phone with one hand. The weight of the phone is also on a little higher side of 162 grams.

The primary camera installed in the phone is of 13 MP with a resolution of 4128 x 3096 pixels which will ensure that you are able to click and record clear pictures and videos.
