Are you participating at GITEX Shopper or GITEX Technology Week this year?
Yes, we are very excited about participating at both events and we are looking forward to showcasing our new product launches. It is a great opportunity for us to get a perception from the consumers which is important for our progression.

What are your plans for both the events this year?
We will mainly be focusing on showcasing the latest technologies and getting the consumers excited about the products we will be launching. It is also a chance for us to directly communicate with the consumers and find out what they think of the products.

What technology and market trends have you seen this year on the Middle East market?
The main trend we have noticed is definitely an interest in VR. We truly believe that during 2017 the usage of Virtual Reality will dramatically expand as it is one of the newest and biggest things for IoT. HP has already recently announced the ready machines for VR solution which are available to our region.

Will you be launching any new products or solutions at GITEX this year?
We have a range of exciting new products within personal systems, gaming, desktops and all-in-ones. Guests at GITEX can expect to see products such as HP Spectre 13, HP OMEN 15 &17, and HP Pavilion Wave among many others.

What sort of channel engagements have you planned for GITEX?
All our channel partners are invited to visit our stand and experience different products. We are showcasing a wide range of PC and Print solutions, starting from Mobility all the way to Large format printing.

Will you be recruiting new channel partners? If yes, for which markets?
We are always open to welcoming any channel organization from the Middle East that would like to discover our HP portfolio and potentially build a positive partnership with HP. If we feel we can work effectively together and bring about something constructive, we are always interested.

How does GITEX Shopper and GITEX Technology Week fit into your overall regional strategies?
Both events are very different however they are equally as important. It’s an opportunity to engage with end users directly and show the best qualities of our devices, solutions and services. Gitex Shopper is great for allowing us to tap into the world of consumers, get them to see our latest products and buy them on the spot. While Technology week is a platform for the commercial audience to experience the products.
