Reports floating around on the internet seem to give out lots of details. The Asus Zenfone 4 Max is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display with a 1280 X 720 resolution. The smartphone might be powered by a Qualcomm octa-core SoC clocked at 1.4 GHz and paired with 3GB RAM. Also on offer is 32GB of internal storage. Rumors also suggest that the smartphone might pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 or 660 processor.

In the photography department, The Zenfone 4 Max is more likely to sport a dual rear camera setup which is capable of shooting 4K videos. The dual-setup could be a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors. Up front, there an 8-megapixel selfie camera is also expected. The smartphone is likely to run Android 7.0 Nougat OS out-of-the-box.

However, one thing worth noting is that the Zenfone 4 Max could come with a similar design as that of last years Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom, which also comes with dual camera setup. The only difference is the placement of the fingerprint scanner. The Zenfone 3 Zoom has a square-shaped rear fingerprint sensor as compared to capsule-shaped front fingerprint scanner on the Zenfone 4 Max.
