Fisher-Price, a Mattel brand that specialises in educational toys for infants and preschoolers, has announced the launch of a new product range in the Middle East region. Fully inspired by the popular Nickelodeon TV show that is also aired on MBC 3, the interactive collection teaches children between ages three and six how to be persistent and resilient while preparing them for the early school years.
The Shimmer and Shine toy range brings the content into life by offering six-inch dolls, Wish-Granting Bracelets, Teenie Genie Playset, Collect & Carry Case Teenie Genie Surprise. With the latter, children can make their own collection of over 130 Teenie Genies. The products are available for purchase at Hamleys, Toys R Us, The Toy Store, Nickelodeon Store, Early Learning Center and Borders in the United Arab Emirates and at Toys R Us and Early learning center across Saudi Arabia. The products are also sold at Baby Story and Top Toy in Jeddah and at Hamleys and New York Toys in Riyadh.
“Our goal is to enable children to interact with toys that will promote the development of their intelligence even before they start their early schooling. When children interact with a doll that comes with music, adventures and role play, they develop their imagination, concentration and self-confidence,” said Kathleen Alfano, Ph.D. holder and Former Director of Child Research at Fisher-Price.
