Laptops News
HP announced the launch of the education edition for its two new thin rugged convertibles, HP ProBook x360 11 G3 EE and HP ProBook x360 11 G4 EE. Since 2015, HP’s Education Edition PCs have consistently reset the bar for ruggedness and innovation for schools.

With amazing new features designed to enhance instruction and minimize cost of management and downtime, the HP ProBook x360 11 Education Edition G3 and G4 allow users to:
  • Learn in the classroom and on the go. Thinner than its predecessor, these devices are built to withstand the rigors of active students with shock-absorbing molded rubber trim, a reinforced power port, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and a spill-resistant keyboard.
  • Stay on task in the classroom or in the cloud. Power through the school day with the latest Intel® processors and battery life up to 16 hours.1 Get reliable wireless connectivity from 2×2 AC wireless or use the RJ-45 to access stable wired network. Integrated HP manageability and security software tools such as HP Manageability Integration Kit to manage systems across the OS and HP BIOSphere Gen4 for automatic BIOS updates, protect the school’s network and student data.
  • Adapt to every style of teaching and learning. New HP Interactive Light puts a new spin on classroom interaction and allows spontaneous group breakout sessions, moderated Q&As, and easy visual ID of online status. Versatile 360° design adapts throughout the school day with four use modes – stand, tent, tablet and notebook – so students can create, present, and collaborate in an easy way. Optional dual cameras capture video, and an optional pen enhances screen inputs.
Both the devices are expected to be available next year with a starting price of $430.
